Bloom’s Greatest And Tastiest – Here’s What To Eat, Drink And Gorge On In Phoenix Park This Weekend

Bloom have gone and knocked it out of the park again – pun intended; not sorry – with some great feckin' food this year.

Really earthy and healthy vibes, the food is all fresh AF, which is exactly how it should be in the wonderful Phoenix Park. 

Seriously tasty food right in the heart of Costa del Dublin? Hurrah.

Food

The Vegan Kitchen is serving up a crazy amount of class falafel wraps (pictured above). 

We tried the deep fried chickpea patty one with creamy hummus, pickled veg, rocket and everyone's fave, tzatziki. Just €7 – which ain't bad for some of the best falafel we've had. 

The Happy Pear were front and centre in the picnic areas outside the 'Food Market'. They had a sweet deal of fresh salads with a juice or smoothie for €10. Nice.

People were queuing around the corner for BFree's nut, wheat, dairy and egg-free wraps and sambos. Only €6 for a yum and healthy lunch in the park. Ya would.

You'll know Kinara from their terrific restaurants in both Ranelagh and Clontarf. We were delighted to see they'd set up at Bloom, and they were passing curry and naan bread out to the masses and it smelled drool worthy. 

Legit hotdogs from the Real Irish Sausage Company – I tried the 'Grannies' sausage (no jokes here) and it tasted like straight up summer, in a bun. They threw on some fried onions for extra delish-ness. 

Yussss.

Drink

There's many an option for an aul' deoch, whether alcoholic or non.

You can find fresh juices in the first 'Food Market' tent at the Keelings Pure Green stand. They're a wide enough variety to choose from, and thanks be to God they're chilled.

And all hail Coffeeangel. Thaaank you for gracing Bloom with your caffeine pumped presence. 

The festival is pretty spread out so you're gonna need all the coffee you can get.

Dingle Vodka are serving up some absolutely delish cocktails the main 'Food Market', including 'Dingle Donkeys' and 'Gin Fizzes'. Yup, that's where you'll find us.

Sweet thangs

Don't fret, we didn't forget the deserts. 

Crépes

A classic, we know, but these are some seeerious crépes. 

One is called Baconopocalypse, enough said. 

Glenisk are serving up smoothies and fruity granola pots, perf for a bitta brekkie or desert. 

We already mentioned Nobó in our article about hidden gems at the festival, but this particular stall is worth a second mention 'cos it's delish with a capital D. 

Mango and passion fruit lollies to conclude a perf day in the park? Dreamy. 

It's a truly terrific round up of some fantastic food.
