Turning rubbish into beer seems like a feat only Jesus himself would be capable of, but fear not.
When the sun shines in Dublin, everyone and their mam heads to the canal to sit in the sun and sip on a can but unfortunately, alarming amounts of rubbish are often left behind.
As the canal is not policed, some drinkers opt for leaving their cans and bottles behind which disturbs the local area and leaves an eyesore on the gorgeous canal.

The Bernard Shaw and Brewtonic have decided to do something about it in bringing about the Bin It To Win It initiative.
People wishing to take part can call into the Bernard Shaw or MVP on Clanbrassil Street and grab a #BinittoWinit bag from beside the front entrance.
Plastic bottles and empty cans are solely advised for the bags so the contents can be recycled.

Full bags of plastic bottles or cans can be brought to the Bin It To Win It dropoff points at The Bernard Shaw or MVP.
The Bernard Shaw’s drop off point is located just to the left of the building from Richmond Street entrance, MVP’s is inside the bar.
Free beer tokens are then exchanged for the bag, to be used at the bar.
