Lunch today is either going to be cornflakes or a seriously cheap dish somewhere in the city.
Here's some of our fave Dublin lunches when you're broke af – all under €7.50. Enjoy.
We always rave about the lunchtime Carluccio's pasta counter.
You walk in, choose your choice of three to four pre-cooked pastas, pay €6.95 and leave. It's really that simple.
Top tip: mix 'n' match, go half and half.
Oxmantown's glorious sandwiches retail from €5.50.
All absolutely incredible. And if you're not keen to spend more than a fiver on lunch - they also dish up some banging soups for just €3.50.
For €5.50 you get a hearty, generous portion of soup and some bread 'n' butter.
I always gulp it down before getting the chance to take a pic, so please accept this stock image that really does not do their soup justice instead!
Blazing Salads do some really incredible specials each week, only providing the best, tastiest and freshest food.
Our fave is the falafel wrap that's normally priced at roughly €4.
This is one of my favourite places to eat in all of Dublin.
The staff are so friendly and fun, the food is super cheap but such good quality with the perfect sized portions.
Loooove the udon noodle soup – €7.50 and you'll be perfectly full after. Yum, yum, yum.
This relatively new spot just down from The Barge pub on Charlemont Street is owned by the same guys behind Musashi – so you know the food's gonna be superb.
They've plenty of seating, or you can do takeout. It's mainly Asian street food but their sushi menu is perfectly extensive and cheap.
Lots of yummy noodles, gyoza, curries and rice dishes to choose from. They also do free soft serve ice cream!
